Comp Card Printing, Part Two: Where to Get Your Modeling Cards Printed

Last Updated: June 26, 2017. Published: June 7, 2012. By Sarah McDowd 6 Comments

Here we will discus where to get your modeling comp cards printed. Not too long ago, we here at ModelMentors posted a list that included a few of our top choices for Comp Card Printing (https://modelmentors.com/comp-card-printing). This post was warmly-received, and it also inspired our readers to send us personal recommendations of their own. We are all about sharing information and referrals, so we made another list!

With that said, Part Two of our “Comp Card Printers” list is comprised entirely of our readers’ personal recommendations. They each made it clear that they were satisfied customers, and would happily order comp cards again. **DISCLAIMER: We have not used any of the companies on this list, just passing along the referrals from satisfied readers.

OUR READERS’ RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COMP CARD PRINTING:

We received more than one recommendation for BunkerLA, so we are placing them first on the list! They also print headshots and business cards if you are in need of any.
Here is their website: http://bunkerla.net/product-category/model-cards/

This reader simply ordered the ‘Oversized’ Postcards from VistaPrint, and saved herself a bunch of money! An order of 50 will only run you $17 (adding a color backside brings your total to $25).
Check out Vistaprint’s website here.

This company allows you to upload images and configure your modeling comp cards online. Here is their website: http://www.idealcompcards.com/

The reader who sent this company was impressed with their customer service, as well as the end product!
Here is their website: http://www.compcard.com/

For further reading on comp cards (such as what you need to include, acceptable formats, etc.) you can check out our informative article “What is a Comp Card” here: https://modelmentors.com/what-is-a-comp-card/

(*Note: In no way are we being “bribed” nor paid by these comp card companies to include them on our list. These are helpful suggestions and nothing more.)

We hope you all found this post useful, and thank you again to our kind readers for taking the time to write us! If any of you have further suggestions, we welcome you to leave them below in the comments, or to email us. xoxo

I know there are already a lot of options here and other people have suggested either more but let me just toss one more into the pile – https://store.myprintingmatters.net

I’ve been using them for a long time now for my comp cards and they always do a great job! And their prices are good at least as far as I know. I haven’t exactly checked the prices of every site out there or anything.

I would love to suggest Spotlightprinting.net
They have free shipping, airbrushing and design. So far the cheapest I have seen online and their quality and customer service is great. They can actually design/touchup your comp cards and have proofs ready within an hour most times.

This is a great list of companies to print your comp cards. I would also like to suggest http://www.printcompcards.com as they offer free shipping and its around the same price range if not cheaper than most of those listed on this page.

I would like to mention my photo retouching company, 399Retouch, as a resource. We perfect photos that can be used on Comp Cards. If a model owns the copyright to her/his photos, we can fix any appearance issues sensitively, quickly and economically.
